In order to further implement the prevention and control of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the people's lives and health are given top priority, according to the overall deployment of the Beijing Municipal Government's Beijing Municipal Committee for Prevention and Control Work: from January 24, 2020 on Beijing has initiated a first-level response to major public health emergencies and cancelled large-scale events. We have in the mean time also received instructions of the Beijing Municipal Government via the Beijing Public Security Bureau.
Therefore ISPO Beijing, scheduled from 12 to 15 February 2020 at NCIEC Beijing, China has to be cancelled, to protect the health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors, and the general public.
The outbreak of this epidemic and related governmental instructions constitute force majeure, since they are objective circumstances which are unforeseeable, unavoidable and insurmountable. In addition, carrying out the show would also have been unreasonable under the current circumstances.
